Delivery is Free to most mainland UK postal codes. However, some postal codes will incur a delivery charge which will be calculated and added during checkout.
Our standard delivery is to kerbside only. Any further is at the discretion of the driver making the delivery. You do not need to be at home for delivery to take place.
We will complete delivery using one or other of the delivery methods described below. Housefuel Limited reserve the right to choose the delivery method on each order.
Method 1: Palletised Delivery using a tail lift vehicle and hand pump truck.
Method 2: Hand Delivery in individual plastic bags. No pallet will be supplied using this method.
In both methods, the delivery vehicle is often an 18 Tonne lorry, that can struggle to reach some domestic homes. Please tell us at the time of placing your order of any restrictions that may limit access. Failure to tell us may result in you incurring an additional delivery charge.
Superb product, website and price let down badly by the delivery driver. He refused to drive onto our concrete drive and dropped the pallet on the road leaving my wife and daughters to move it by hand onto our property. What made it worse was that he sat in his cab watching them struggle. Wouldn't even lend them his pallet truck.

The delivery was prompt, the man in the lorry very nice. Perfect.
However, he came in a lorry with a tail lift, not with a crane. A ton of coal on a pallet was too heavy to shift it out of the lorry, because of the small (nearly imperceptible) incline on my drive. The man tried, but because it was wet he couldn't move the pallet inside the lorry. We had to unpack about a third of the pallet before it could be moved with a manual fork lift. I think it is unfair on the lorry drivers to ask them to move such heavy loads. The lorry should have a crane, otherwise the guy will have serious back problems.

Second order of this coal, burns really well in my multifuel stove seems to be pretty smokeless too. Great heat and a nice flame when burning and very easy to light.
The company are fantastic , really helpful on the phone , delivery was prompt and the driver was excellent. I would definitely recommend this company and their products.
