Delivery is Free to most mainland UK postal codes. However, some postal codes will incur a delivery charge which will be calculated and added during checkout.
Our standard delivery is to kerbside only. Any further is at the discretion of the driver making the delivery. You do not need to be at home for delivery to take place.
We will complete delivery using one or other of the delivery methods described below. Housefuel Limited reserve the right to choose the delivery method on each order.
Method 1: Palletised Delivery using a tail lift vehicle and hand pump truck.
Method 2: Hand Delivery in individual plastic bags. No pallet will be supplied using this method.
In both methods, the delivery vehicle is often an 18 Tonne lorry, that can struggle to reach some domestic homes. Please tell us at the time of placing your order of any restrictions that may limit access. Failure to tell us may result in you incurring an additional delivery charge.
The product was great however the delivery experience less so. We live in quite a narrow location and unfortunately the delivery driver was having a bad day.

Happy with coal,
Happy with coal, but didn't have any text or call when they were being delivered only an email to say they had that night. Luckily a colleague drove past my house (I live on main road) & noticed they were on the side of the road. I left a note to be called when delivered on my door as didn't want it get nicked, also 2 bags were split on the crate.

This coal is perfect if you are able to cope with the copius amounts of ash it produces. Much less smoke than its sister the smokeless ovals but whilst it stays in overnight in a multifuel burner I prefer its sister. as it has much more heat and less ash. Service from the staff was first class they really know their fuels. Ordered on Wednesday and delivered Friday in thick snow. Very impressed as due to the weather I was not expecting a delivery until the thaw as we live in a remote area. Housefuel never fail would recommend to everyone. Absolutey brilliant!!
